How to Reach the Hamilton-Niagara Passport Office

You can contact us by phone, email, fax or mail anytime you have a need for information about adult developmental services and/or you wish to apply for services. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm except on statutory holidays.

Your call/request is important to us! When you call, email or fax us we will try and respond to you within one business day. If you call us, a receptionist will direct your call to the most appropriate person. While we do our best to take yours at the time you call, we are not always available (e.g., we may be meeting with people or on the phone with someone else). We aim to return all calls the day they are received but depending on the volume of calls, it may be the next business day when we call you back.

While the main office is located in Hamilton, we have local sites in each of the communities in our region. For people who prefer to connect with us in person, we have walk-in hours (no appointment needed) for each of our sites (please see specific site details for more information).

TTY and Interpretation Services

Calling Via Bell Relay Service (TTY)

Contact Hamilton can be contacted via TTY by placing a Bell Relay call.

  • Dial 711.
  • Enter 905-570-8888
  • Type GA.

The Bell Relay operator will dial the number for you, and will let you know as soon as you are connected (i.e. “Contact Hamilton is on the line, go ahead.”)

You can leave messages on answering machines or voicemail systems with the Bell Relay service. If you do this, please mention that you have called using the Relay service.
